Ring Size Guide India — How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Not sure of your ring size? Our complete India ring size guide shows you how to measure at home using string, paper, or a ruler. Includes Indian size chart.
Method 1: Paper Strip
Cut a thin strip of paper (about 1cm wide). Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you want to size. Mark the point where the paper overlaps. Measure the length from the start to your mark in millimetres. This is your circumference. Divide by π (3.14) for diameter.
Method 2: Existing Ring
Take a ring that fits well. Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres. Match this to our size chart below.
Indian Ring Size Chart
Size 12 = 12.4mm diameter | Size 13 = 13.2mm | Size 14 = 14.0mm | Size 15 = 14.8mm | Size 16 = 15.7mm | Size 17 = 16.5mm | Size 18 = 17.3mm | Size 19 = 18.2mm | Size 20 = 19.0mm. Most women fall between Size 16–19.
Tips for Accurate Measurement
Measure in the evening (fingers swell slightly during the day). Measure the specific finger you plan to wear the ring on. If between sizes, size up. If the ring is wide-band, size up by half.
